Vision and mission of ADATOMS CNFTS
What are the most concerning problems affecting today’s humanity? While some would say that COVID or the next pandemic is the biggest threat, I firmly believe that it is not. It is, indeed, much sadder than that. We have got in this moment the most knowledge we have ever had as a species, and the biggest threat to our lifestyle is that we ignore this knowledge more and more every day. From the deepest and darkest corners of the newly photographed black hole as well as the Strong Force mediated interactions inside atomic nuclei, we humans have managed to learn about phenomena that go beyond our wildest dreams. Yet many still doubt of vaccines and if the planet is flat or not. We have refined our understanding of the universe with help of technology to create a lifestyle that would have never been thought possible just a few generations ago. If you are lucky enough to have your grandparents with you, hand them your smart phone and ask them if they ever thought of something like that possible when they were children.
We have managed to adapt the environment to us, instead of the other way around. We have eliminated horrible plagues like Smallpox. We developed treatments for cancer and diabetes. And we also managed to get 5G and high-speed gaming bandwidth.
And now we have the amazing blockchain technology, that is in the verge of disrupting communications and finance forever. How could we utilize this novel technology to help fight back ignorance with science, technology, and most important education? What can a group of South American scientists and artist do, to promote scientific development, studies, and values in our society? There is not much that a single individual can do to change how a society is performing. Adherence and community are needed for societal changes. A large mass of human willpower and resources must come together to reshape a society.
And this is what ADATOMS aims to be.
ADATOMS is a way of reinforcing scientific ideals into society and support scientific education and research with help of blockchain technology. We chose CARDANO as it is the blockchain that better adheres to what we believe proper peer-reviewed protocols and scientific method should look like. The main objective of ADATOMS is to form a strong community in support of scientific development and scientific divulgation and education. For this, a percentage of all revenues will be donated to science.
ADATOMS aims to implement simple tokenomics for our CNFTs for incentivizing the trading and holding of the different atoms. A crafting mechanism will be implemented in the future so that users will be able to mix different atoms together to craft molecules (see Tokenomics for more info). Events will be held for all collection drops and a % of each collection sale value will be allocated for prizes at these events (more information in Tokenomics section). Finally, a significant percentage of all gathered value will be donated to scientific foundations (see Tokenomics for more info). As we want to project true value for our supporters, all our NFTs will be drawn or digitally created by hand and will not be algorithmically mass produced.

TOKENOMICS
We must keep in mind that the main objective of this project is to help fund scientific research and education. For this, 20% of total revenue obtained from sales will be donated to science related project of the teams liking and aligned to ADATOMS scientific and moral standards. At the same time, 20% of all received donations will be reallocated to those organizations.
The Tokenomics of ADATOMS are designed to help supporters retain value (in its many forms) while gathering, holding and/or trading with different ADATOMS. For this, we ensure that every single ADATOM CNFT will be unique. No ADATOM nor derived molecule should ever be the same as another.
For every collection, we will organize a contest where the wallet (or wallets) fulfilling the contest criteria will be given a prize in the form of ADA (coming from a 10% allocation from Sales revenue) and/or NFTs. The contest conditions will be revealed when 90% of the total asset number of a collection has been minted and sold to prevent from early speculation that would render the game unfair for non-whales.
The main idea of Chemistry and what mostly builds our reality is that atoms bind together in many ways. Each unique atomic distribution gives birth to a novel molecule with its own unique features and properties. We will make our best effort to include this aspect of reality and scientific investigation into ADATOMS. For this, a crafting feature will be carefully developed and presented in the future. In this manner, ADATOMS NFTs will give you access to new NFTs in the form of molecules (if you fulfill the requirement to get said NFTs) which will (but not always) be related to future events. We hope this will drive community members to trade atoms and molecules with each other more frequently to be able to craft new NFTs.
Every collection will be minted on-demand according to the guidelines that will be given at the website.
ROADMAP
ADATOMS is a long-term project. For this, we have divided our roadmap into stages.
The first stage aims to set the bases of this projects and grow a strong community as well as to donate to scientific development and education via the selected foundations.
Science greatest achievement have always come in the form of collaborative work, so the future of this project aims to be so too. In the second stage, we will focus on developing collaborative work with some fellow projects in the #CNFT space and then expand said collaboration with sights of institutional collabs. It might sound a little bit wild, but we will aim at closing #CNFT projects development deals with universities to maximize the reach and impact of our project.
The third stage will be all about that institutional backed CNFT collection development! We hope to bring the first academical CNFT collection to the crypto space with help of a Research Institution like a University. In this stage we will also focus on having our CNFTs provide more educational value, adding educative content to each unique ADATOM non-fungible token.
We hope to have the molecule formation protocol ready between the second and third stages.
